What is coaching?

That person is your coach, your partner in positive change. And coaching is a structured process for creating that change. Your coach acts as a powerful, committed partner to help you bridge the gap between where you are now in your life and where you want to be. 

How does it work?

Your coach will be an ally, standing there beside you as you explore new ways of looking at life. You identify the focus for coaching sessions, usually concentrating on...

  • Where you are now—whether you have the balance you want in your life
  • Your goals and desires
  • The strengths and resources you can rely on to propel you forward

Together, you and your coach focus on actions that will move you toward achieving your goals.

Most sessions are conducted over the telephone. Focusing on the outcome you’ve identified, your coach will support and encourage you, challenge thoughts and behaviors that might be holding you back, and help you uncover what’s really important to you.
